About Rachel

Hi, all! My name is Rachel, and I would love the opportunity to tutor your young learner. I graduated from the University of Oklahoma in 2022 with a B. S. in Special Education. I worked my first year teaching as an elementary special education resource teacher, and worked the past two years as a lead pre-kindergarten teacher at a Reggio-Emilia inspired school. I am passionate about providing students with opportunities to learn through play. I had the opportunity to tutor a former pre-kindergarten student of mine, and learned how much I enjoy that one-on-one time with learners. My areas of focus are reading/ phonics, writing, and mathematics. Currently, I teach elementary special education and have gone through dyslexia intervention training and run a dyslexia intervention group. I look forward to hearing from you and to the opportunity to grow along side your learner!
