Hello, my name is Rachel and I am looking for a nanny job in Boulder. I am a student at CU Boulder majoring in psychology. I have been working with kids for over 4 years now. I love kids of all ages and have experience with varying age ranges. For the past two summers, I have been a full-time nanny for different families, and before that, I ran the afterschool program As a nanny, I am able to not only watch the kids but run errands, walk dogs, and help around the house. I have loved kids since I was young, and working with them comes naturally to me. I believe I am good with kids because I am able to match their energy and move at their high pace speeds, I am the babysitter that will fully immerse myself in games, activities, and play. For me, babysitting is about the relationship I develop with the kid/s and family, and how I can learn from them and how they can learn from me, I think of it as being a big sister figure to kids. We had Rachel do pick up and watched kids in the afternoons. SHE.IS.THE.BEST. If you happen to get her…lucky you! She has the best energy, and kids are obsessed with her. She is so mature, sets clear boundaries, is kind, responsible, safe, makes their time together so fun, and always has fun age appropriate things to do together. She actually plays with the kids (they are 2 and 5). She was super flexible and a JOY to have as part of our family.
