About Raechelle

Hi, I'm Rae! I've called Dallas home for over 15 years, and I've spent the last 12 years teaching Special Education, English, Reading, and Social/Emotional Learning in the DFW area. Alongside teaching, I also take on travel contracts as a Special Education teacher (similar to a travel nurse), and in between those assignments I love providing childcare and nanny services here locally! I'm an outgoing, kind, empathetic, patient, and energetic person, and I bring those traits into every caregiving role. I believe learning and fun should go hand in hand, so I like to weave little learning opportunities into everyday play and routines. I've cared for children from newborns to teenagers, and I have a special place in my heart for children with special needs. Outside the classroom and child care, I am a volunteer at my church, a tutor, a mentor for teenage girls, and the eldest sibling of three! :) I'd love the opportunity to get to know your family and care for your little one(s)!
