About Raphael

I'd describe my personality as calm, curious, and cheerful. I like working with kids because I respect kids as full human beings who are learning about the world with our guidance. I grew up with 8 younger siblings, so I've always been surrounded by kids. I'm looking for a job that allows me to work with kids in addition to my main job of parent! I started working with kids when in college. Since then, I've worked closely with kids of all different abilities, behaviors, and backgrounds in a school setting, plus helping to care for several young family members. In my spare time, I like to read, sing, and play board games. One thing you should know about me is I have a quiet, easygoing style, though I have no problem enforcing boundaries or being silly, either! My skills include creativity, empathy, and knowledge of child development.
