About Raquel

My name is Raquel and I am a loving, caring and responsible person. I am a mother of a 13-year-old girl so as a mother I understand how important child care is for parents. I've watched children 0-12 years old. My last care job lasted 4 years with the same family. But most of my experience comes from taking care of family related children. I have worked in a Montessori Preschool as an Assistant director and also as a Teaching assistant. I am CPR certified and very fluent in Spanish. I am very energetic, passionate and love playing with the children. To me it is very important to keep them engaged with different activities and tasks to increase their development. Some tasks/activities include personal hygiene care, feeding, improving motor skills, helping with reading, writing, crafts, etc. I am a non-smoker and have my own car. Also live close to the light rail which makes commuting easy as well.
