About Raquel

I am a professional nanny and child behavior specialist with more than 10 years of experience caring for children from infancy through adolescence. I hold a Bachelor's degree in Psychology with a focus in Behavior Analysis and have worked with children ranging from 5 weeks old through the teenage years. Early in my career, I specialized in newborn and infant care, including twins. Over the years, I have worked with families in Paris, Miami Beach, New York City, Pinecrest, and now Washington, DC. I bring a calm, adaptable, and energetic approach to childcare, combining child development knowledge with creativity, structure, and fun. Whether we're exploring outdoors, creating games, or working through behavioral challenges, my goal is to help children grow into confident, capable, and kind young people. I currently work with families on a part time, temporary, and occasional basis and enjoy building lasting relationships with both parents and children.
