About Raya

I've been working with kids for as long as I can remember. Starting as a Counselor in Training, I moved into mentoring, babysitting, and tutoring, which means I've spent many years around young people. Known for my patience and organizational skills, I'm often the planner among my friends. I love outdoor adventures and am passionate about sports, dance, art, and reading. I can tutor students in grades K-6 in Math, Science, and English, and I excel at adapting to different learning styles. I'll be continuing my love for learning by studying Neuroscience at the University of Michigan, with plans to apply for master's programs in nursing, focusing on labor and delivery and neonatology. I adore kids of all ages, and I've even worked with newborns. I'm tidy, great at folding laundry, and I thrive on connecting with new people in a nonjudgmental, outgoing way.
