Hi, I'm looking for a part-time private job in homecare. I have three and a half years of experience with an ALS patient requiring very extensive means of care. I do enjoy building a relationship and making sure each person is as happy and comfortable within whatever situation, while also ensuring they get the care they need and deserve. I am currently not certified however, my experience goes beyond the teachings of a CNA and I am scheduled to earn my certification mid-September. I am looking for something I can continue on before, during and after my certification. I also have 7+ years experience in babysitting/nannying from infant-teens. 3. 5 years of experience with care related to ALS/quadriplegic Bathing Use of bed pan/changing briefs Taking vitals Administering medications through G-tube Tube feeding Trach care/deep suctioning Using a ventilator Making important decisions under high-pressure Babysitting Helping with homework, cooking and house chores.
