About Rebecca

I have a BA in early childhood education and psychology and am a Certified Postpartum and Infant Care Doula and a Certified Lactation Counselor. In addition to working with over 40 families as a Doula, I have past experience as a teacher, a nanny, and a Registered Behavior Technician working with children on the autism spectrum. I am a very warm, caring, patient, and responsible person who relates very well to children. I am a big proponent of open-ended art, sensory experiences, reading, music, games, outdoor play and activities in the community. As for discipline, I focus on helping children acknowledge their feelings and I teach them to understand what acceptable behavior is by giving them choices and using redirection. I have my own transportation and am a very safe driver with a clean driving record. I am also CPR and first aid certified and am pet friendly. References and resume upon request.
