About Rebecca

Rebecca and I had a decent interview up until she asked me about what I meant in my ad on care.com when I said my family had traditional American family values and beliefs. Rebecca offered an abrupt comment of "good luck on your search" and rudely hung up after I explained that "alternative lifestyles, gender preferences, and identity politics" wouldn't be an ideal influence for my family's full time nanny position. It's important for a child care professional to maintain good composure and character in adverse circumstances and she demonstrated that is not a trait of hers, even just to take a few seconds to politely exit an interview. If you are in agreement with Rebecca, she might be a good fit for your needs however, surely at some point you will disagree on something. Her reaction, based on my short experience could possibly create a problem for you as well as her. I recommend you give her every possibility to prove me wrong, but this was my experience.
