About Rebekah

Hello parents! My name is Bekah and I've been working in childcare for 4 years now. I work with children and adults that have special needs and autism. Helping children and being an extra hand makes me feel passionate about my life. I am also a student studying Psychology, making it easier for me to gauge tantrums, understand child development and be aware of the variety of strategies to better manage children. I am the oldest of three brothers, having three younger brothers has helped me gained a great deal of patience and understanding aggressive tendencies and how to redirect those negative feelings. I am lucky enough to have many experiences with childcare and being able to work with them as-well, it has helped me adapt to many circumstances :) I'd describe my personality as attentive, team player and encouraging. In my spare time, I like to go on hikes, meditate and be around my family. I am big on practicing mindfulness and am family oriented.
