About Rena

Nurturing young minds is my passion. I have experience working as an RBT (behavior therapy) with kids on the spectrum for 5 years. I am currently still working as an RBT but am looking for something that will provide more stable hours. Before working in behavior I regulary cared for a infant/toddler for about 3 years. I also have experience volunteering at the Boys and Girls Club. I have a BA in psych focusing on child psych. I am also certified in First Aid and CPR. My approach is patient and calm, and I love to engage children with creative activities, outdoor sports, board games, and educational games. I am comfortable caring for up to five children and can assist with cooking, light housekeeping, crafts, carpooling, among other tasks. I am comfortable with pets and willing to walk dogs if needed. Knowing I can make a positive impact on a child's life brings me immense happiness, and I look forward to bringing that same joy to your family.
