About Renee

Hi! My name is Renee and I am a soon-to-be graduate with a Master's in Speech-Language Pathology (speech therapy). Unfortunately, the CA licensing for speech therapists is extremely backed up right now, and I have an estimated license issue date for March 1st. This means I can't start work as a speech therapist until then and I am looking for a short term childcare job to fill the time! Before beginning grad school, I was a nanny for about 7 years. I absolutely love children and this was my main reason for beginning my career in speech therapy. I was with my longest nanny family for almost 4 years and can provide great references from multiple families. As a nanny, I have worked with children of all ages but mostly with infants and toddlers. These past 2 years in my grad program, I worked in different schools/private practices and have had extensive experience with both preschool and elementary school aged children, including special education students.
