Hey there! My name is Renee, and I've been working with children for six years now. I started as a tutor, then went on to teach in daycares, and now I'm a nanny/babysitter! I'm CPR/ first aid certified, have completed the WA DCYF 40hr childcare basics training, safe sleep training, courses in educational psychology and child development and 10 hrs professional development from a Penn state extension program. I've worked with children ages 4 months to 12 years, and have experience with special needs children, and have completed training for working with kids with behavioral challenges, autism, and ADHD. I'm currently at my capacity for recurring jobs, but please don't hesitate to reach out if you need one- time/occasional care!

Renee has been with us since Feb of 2023, so 1 year and 7 months or so. She started when our daughter was turning 4, and our son was 6 months, caring for both of them full days from 8-4pm 4 days a week. She is AMAZING, and imwe fully trust her with both kids at different ages and needs. She doesn't just make sure they're safe, she also teaches them through age appropriate lessons, projects, and activities. She frequently takes them to parks, splash pads, the beach, OMSI and Play centers, etc. And there has never been an incident or issue. She is pleasant, professional, punctual, and trustworthy with our kids and best of all, the kids love her. HIGHLY recommend her for any care if she's not already with us :-)
