My experience during the hiring process was impacted by ongoing communication concerns. We had to reschedule the initial interview multiple times, and there was an instance where I waited on the scheduled video call without receiving prior notice that she was unavailable. Before the planned orientation, I also had difficulty confirming the schedule due to delayed responses despite my attempts to reach out through messages and phone calls. Communication is extremely important when hiring a nanny because it is essential in building trust, understanding availability, and determining reliability. While I appreciate her time and consideration, we ultimately decided not to move forward because the communication experience did not align with what our family needs in a caregiver.
