Hi there! I am a reliable, energetic and creative sitter who recently graduated from college. I am looking for something rather consistent, can help with homework and can introduce/teach chess, soccer (and other sports), music, art, or writing. I have experience with childcare in several different settings, the first of which was as a head counselor at the day camp at the JCC on the Palisades. I headed two groups of both seven and 5-year-olds. My responsibilities included creating a fun and safe environment for the children in my group, helping campers get ready for activities/getting them where they needed to be on time, and encouraging a positive social experience between campers. My report with the children and their parents resulted in babysitting requests. As a babysitter/nanny, my responsibilities became cooking, helping the children with their homework, picking them up from school, and still maintaining a safe and fun environment for them to enjoy.
