About Richard

Hello, I worked as an LPN on a surgical floor at Columbia in NYC for 8 years prior to moving into physician practice management. I have since retired and now have the privilege of doing home healthcare for the past 4 years which I enjoy and find very rewarding. I'm a very compassionate person, reliable, detail oriented, with strong bedside nursing skills ranging from ambulatory support to memory care and end-of-life care. I foster dignity, encouragement, self empowerment, and have lots of experience working in conjunction with Physical Therapy. Often called a 'natural caregiver.' I'm an excellent listener, with a chronically upbeat attitude, physically fit, athletic and energetic and love to always keep busy - so downtime chores welcomed!
