About Rose

I am a loving mom and experienced teacher/school leader taking some time away to care for my 4-year-old son outside of school hours. I'm looking for a job that aligns with my availability while he is in pre-k. I am open to all ages and looking for a family that I can support, communicate with, and share my joy for watching their kids grow. All families are different! I am committed to learning how to best support children with consistency, honoring their routines and family expectations. I have always been drawn to working with children. In high school and college I worked in preschools, afterschool programs, as a nanny, and coaching soccer, working with children ages 2-15. Since then I have made a career as a teacher and school leader and completed my MA in Early Childhood Education and MSEd. I have been an educator for 14+ years and hold NYS teaching certificates for ages birth-6th grade. In my spare time, I like to play soccer, make art, spend time in nature, read, and travel.
