Roukia is an exceptional care-giver who we recommend without reservation. She was professional, honest, and always maintained a positive attitude when faced with the many challenges of taking care of my 96 year-old father who faced many complicated medical issues. We employed Roukia to spend 3-4 hours per day to take care of Dad, who resided in an independent-living retirement community in Ann Arbor. She assisted him in bathing (getting in and out of the shower); maintaining his catheter, taking his medication, driving him to doctors appointments and helping him interpret what the doctor was telling him. She also kept his apartment clean and well-organized, assisting with light house-keeping when necessary. Moreover, her warmth and empathy made her a wonderful companion for Dad who looked forward to her daily visits. He was initially averse to having anyone take care of him but he loved talking to Roukia and sharing stories. I can say without reservation that one of the highlights of the last six months of Dad's life was the time that he spent with Roukia. Thank you KIa - Hugs and love, Cathy
