About Rowan

Hello I'm Rowan :•) This summer I was a camp councelor at Unirondack out in lowville! I have lots of experience making fun programs (I. e, programs called: "twig journals", "horsemaxxing", "metal meditation ", becoming camp dogs", "plantsonas", and "sigil hour".) as well as training in safety and socially educational topics. I slept in cabins with the kids and kept them on track with their morning and bedtime routines. I mastered the art of making kids brush their teeth! (If we brush OUTSIDE we can spit on the ground. And wouldn't that be cool?) I've found my strongest skills working in childcare have been silliness, understanding, and trust. I think everyone would benefit if offered more of these things honestly. I have some passive experience working with mentally unwell and neurodivergent kids. I have much patience and empathy, so if your child has any struggles or quirks you need to run by me I'm all ears. I'll do the best I can to do right by you and your kids regardless. :•)
