About Roxane

I'd describe my personality as patient, reliable, creative, and organized. I love caring for, teaching, and sharing fun, meaningful experiences with children of all ages. Working with children has been the core passion of my adult life. My childcare journey began after college, when I worked at a residential facility for young children prior to their placement with foster families. I later taught Montessori primary and elementary students at Near North Montessori School in Chicago. After that, I owned and operated a Montessori-based home daycare in Oak Park for 17 years. I am currently employed as a house manager and childcare provider for a local Oak Park family. In my spare time, I enjoy cooking, baking, playing tennis, walking for exercise, spending time with friends, and traveling. In addition to childcare, I am comfortable supporting families with house management tasks, including preparing healthy, delicious meals.
