My senior care experience was taking care of my mother who passed away from dementia 11 years ago. I also had the pleasure of taking care of an amazing woman who I took grocery shopping, to doctor appointments, cleaned her house and just keeping her company as well as making her laugh. I took care of my grandmother 30 years ago with Alzheimer's as well as grandfather with Parkinson. With that being said, I have extensive personal experience caring for seniors. I do want to mention that I am not ready to care for anyone with severe dementia but mild or beginning stages are perfectly fine. Please not I am not a CNA.
