About Sabrina

I am currently a 4th grade teacher. I am a graduate of Concordia University. I received my Master's in School Leadership and Bachelor in Early Childhood Education. Since graduation, I have worked as an elementary school teacher for the passed 10 years. I have taught in Pre-k, kindergarten, second, third and fourth grade. I feel that my students really appreciate the interactive approach I use when teaching. From my experience as a teacher and tutor, I know that reading, math and writing can be hard to grasp, but when you have someone to explain the information in familiar terms, understanding is then attainable. By taking the time to understand a student's learning style and never failing to offer words of encouragement, every student can succeed in their courses. Prior to graduating and becoming a teacher, I've worked in school systems, babysat and worked at daycares. Aside from academics, I enjoy learning new things, exploring the city and traveling with family.
