I have always been that person in the room that children gravitate towards. I started out teaching color guard to middle school and high school aged children in my area. I absolutely love teaching! So I got a job as an assistant teacher in a daycare and ended up in the infant room. I was so in love, that I got my teacher certification for infants and toddlers. The only thing I don't like about working in the day care is that my time is spread too thin with each child, I would love to spend more one on one time with them! I love doing projects, art, working on fine and gross motor skills and just snuggling them! I did a lot of theater and arts in high school and love putting that towards being fun and engaging while reading and doing dramatic play. I love to get out and am a library regular. I also have food service experience and love to prepare healthy snacks and meals with some help from my little friends. In my spare time I love to hike, camp and kayak, anything outdoors!

Future Family - I would highly recommend Sam for any Nanny/Household Manager position. She has been with us since July 2023 and we are only parting ways as she is needing to relocate for family reasons. Sam is extremely proactive, responsible, flexible, communicative, punctual and reliable in an effort to enhance your family’s day-to-day lives. She has the ability to connect with children of all ages and can Taylor her approach/activities to meet the needs of an active boy or the growing teenage girl. We trusted her with many neighborhood children, financial management within our household and caring for our children while we were out of town for travel. Sam is great with pets and managing household duties to keep all family members on schedule and at all events on-time.
