About Samantha

I have been involved with child care since I was a teenager as my first job was as a babysitter. I have since attended school for elementary education, volunteered working with children at youth groups/after school programs, and have worked as both a daycare teacher and as a nanny. I love working with children and being a part of their development and growth. With my background in education I incorporate a structured schedule while being creative about learning activities and lesson plans. I especially love doing crafts and incorporating those into my teaching times. I also enjoy outside time. Whether that be walks around the neighborhood, playing in the backyard/park, or finding local events and activities geared towards children - things like reading times at the library or children's museums. I'm also happy to help with light house keeping duties related to the child. Specifically child's laundry, child's meal prep, and cleaning up after meals and play time throughout the day.
