About Samantha Joy

I have worked as a After School Instructor for 3 years for Alvord Unified District with kids between 5-13 years old. I supervised, feed, and entertained 40 kids five afternoons per week., lead general study and homework period for kids, offer academic help when possible. I also creatively engage students in games and other entertaining activities. In addition to normal care responsible, I have also helped with light housekeeping, meal preps and when time permits, I love helping kids build their literacy through reading books, and creative art and writing. I believe my patience and strong understanding of child development make me a good nanny. I'm also adaptable and can effectively communicate with both children and parents. Working with children brings me immense joy and fulfillment because of their boundless energy, creativity, and curiosity. Overall, the genuine connections and pure happiness that come from working with children make it a truly rewarding experience for me.
