About Samantha

I am 49 years old, with three beautiful children and three amazing grand babies. I have 10 plus years experience in private caregiving. I've had the privilege of working for such wonderful families, including a retired Methodist minister, an architect, psychiatrist, rancher, banker, retired music director, and many more. I have lots of experience working with dementia/Alzheimers. I meet people exactly where they are at. If someone says the sky is pink, I say, " It sure is." Arguing with someone with dementia is never a smart idea. In their minds, what they communicate to us, is very much the truth to them. Dementia is a disease. I redirect, ALWAYS. I take great pride in my work and have EXCELLENT references. I believe everyone deserves to be treated with kindness and respect. I'm dependable, honest, kind, respectful, and have a fun loving personality. I am a Christian. I definitely would never disrespect anyone who believes differently than me, EVER.
