About Samantha

I'm 26 years old and soon I'll be starting my M. Ed in special education & general education. Beginning in December, I'll be caring for 1 infant M-F, and I'm hoping to add one more child who is in need of child care, available at my home. Previously, I have taught pre-k, worked in direct care, case planning and therapeutic counseling. In these positions, I worked with children ranging from infants to teenagers. I have completed therapeutic crisis intervention training and safety training. This training gave me education on keeping situations calm and keeping children safe. I also have a clear CBC status through New York State. I have worked with children of all ages since the 7th grade when I completed a certified baby sitting training course. I also have experience working with children who have mental health concerns, ADHD and autism. I truly enjoy working with children and enjoy using my creative abilities to help children learn, grow and develop along the way!
