About Samantha

Hi there! I am a Bay Area native who recently moved to Palo Alto, where I work in an elementary school Monday-Friday. I am looking for a way to make a little extra income during my free time. I've been working with children for years and have experience with all ages from infant to teenager. My experience with working with children has come from years of babysitting, nannying, lifeguarding, and teaching swim lessons to all ages (infants, children, and adults). I have nannied for a few families, but my most impactful position was one-on-one care for a nonverbal little girl with Down syndrome. I have experience with overnight care, toileting, bathing, dressing, and meal prep/feeding. Hoping to find something more consistent with a family that needs assistance regularly. I maintain communication, problem-solving, making a positive impact, and having a strong work ethic. People have described me as resourceful, bubbly, nurturing, patient, and easy to talk to.
