I have worked professionally with infants, toddlers and children for about nine years. As a birth and postpartum doula I work one-on-one with clients during pregnancy, birth and the postpartum period. Postpartum work extends to newborn care, light housekeeping, meal planning and prep, breastfeeding assistance and care of older siblings. In my capacity as a doula I have approximately 2000 hours of newborn experience, most of which has been overnight newborn care. I worked as a full-time, professional nanny from 2017 to 2019, caring for a precious baby girl from the time she was 4 months til about 2. 5. Aside from all the normal baby/toddler care, I helped with meal planning and prep, potty training, arranging social outings and supervising swimming and other outdoor activities. I also have two years of experience as a Red Cross certified lifeguard and swim instructor. I am currently CPR and NRP certified and I have Food Handlers Training and Blood Borne Pathogen Training as well.
