About Samantha

Hello, my name is Samantha. I have worked with children in a professional manner going on for the last 6 years. I have worked with children as director for an after-school program (K-6th), as an ECE teacher, and as a Kindergarten teacher. I love working with children and am currently in the process of working on furthering my education in psychology and child development. A child's social-emotional health, independence, character, and exposure to culture/diversity are things that I personally deem important. I enjoy taking children to the park, splash pads, the library, the zoo, or events geared towards children. I also LOVE doing at home art or science activities, reading story books, and just being silly with dance parties. Creating a safe and fun environment is something I try my best to cultivate and am more than happy to discuss healthy boundaries and ideas with families on what is best for the child.
