About Samariyah

Hello, my name is Samariyah. I am from Fayetteville, North Carolina, but I am currently in my rising senior year of college at NCCU. I've always had a strong desire to help children. My desire to nurture and educate young minds stems from my own positive babysitting experiences. I believe that every child deserves a safe and nurturing environment in which to grow and learn, and I make every effort to provide that for each family with whom I work. I am patient, calm, and creative, and I enjoy coming up with new ways to engage and teach children. I am also very comfortable enforcing household rules and routines, and I believe that setting clear expectations is critical for children's development. I have four years of experience as a childcare provider and am comfortable working with children of all ages, from infants to preteens. Finally, I do not currently hold any first aid or CPR certifications.
