About Sammie

Hi! My name is Sammie, and I love working with kids and creating a fun, positive, and safe environment for them. I have experience through lifeguarding, swim instruction, and BASE, an after-school program where I supervised and spent time with children of different ages. I'm CPR certified, currently a nursing major, and have taken a child development course, which has helped me better understand how to care for kids. I'm energetic, patient, and dependable, and I enjoy keeping children engaged through games, activities, and encouraging interactions while always making safety a priority. I like working with kids because I enjoy creating a fun, safe, and positive environment while helping them learn, grow, and have fun. I started working with kids when I was 10 years old babysitting! One thing you should know about me is that I genuinely care about creating a safe, fun, and supportive environment. My skills include communication, patience, and safety awareness.
