About Sammie

Hi! My name is Sammie and I am a senior Social Work student at James Madison University with a passion for working with children and families. My goal after college is to work in the child welfare system, helping children feel supported, safe, and empowered to succeed. I love building positive relationships with kids and creating fun, engaging environments that foster growth and confidence! I am responsible, dependable, and patient when it comes to childcare and truly want the best for every child and family :) I'd describe my personality as positive, reliable, and organized. I like working with kids because I enjoy helping them learn, grow, and build confidence. I'm looking for a job that I can build relationships with children and they can view me as a role model and friend all in one. I started working with kids when I was a freshman in high school. Since then I've had opportunities to work with kids through babysitting and volunteer work.
