I have had the amazing opportunity to be a full-time stay-at-home parent for the past 6+ years to my 3 kids. Before I began my own parenting journey, I worked at a Reggio Emilia preschool, was a nanny for several families, and coached youth sports. Kids are kinda my thing. Now that my own kids are all in school, I am hoping to find a family to work with during the school hours with some possibility for overlap depending on location. I am very comfortable with all age ranges, abilities, attitudes and family structures. I am very active, easygoing and positive. I am athletic and able to play with energetic kids, but I also enjoy and appreciate downtime reading, doing crafts or playing games. I take pride in my ability to engage with kids instead of simply "watching" them. I can name a bazillion Pokemon, have read every kids book in the library, can sing every song in Mary Poppins, invent make-believe games, build amazing forts, and make anyone laugh!
