Teaching is such a rewarding experience! To be able to facilitate the growth and development of children in the areas of reading, writing and math, and watch their confidence grow, is truly an honor. I have earned a Master's degree in the area of Reading and a Doctoral degree in Educational Leadership. My experience includes teaching at the K-2 level in the public school system for 27 years, serving as an adjunct professor for the Literacy Department at West Chester University at the graduate and undergraduate levels, mentoring student teachers and reading practicum students from local universities, being an Outreach instructor for at-risk pre-kindergarten students, teaching at my district's summer literacy and math program, an Asst. Dir. and Director for the The Huntington Learning Center, providing individual private tutoring for students needing extra support and enrichment, as well as running various literacy based after school clubs. I've been awarded the Gift of Time Tribute.
