About Sarah

Hi! I'm Sarah. I've worked with children professionally for two years, mostly school aged, 6-11, as well as some 4-5-year-olds. I have worked with both schools and daycares throughout this time. That kind of work within a large group setting (15 - 25 children) has sometimes hindered opportunities for one-on-one connections and growth with individual children, which is why I am seeking to return to working within a smaller family setting. I love talking to children about literature, history, mythology, languages, geography, and culture. I have been told in the past that my efforts are ambitious, but have found that when I make the content accessible, they step up to the challenge every time. I am currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in anthropology at UCF, and hope to use my education to move back to Germany where I grew up in the coming years. I am excited for the opportunity to meet more incredible children and inspire them as much as they inspire me.
