About Sarah

Dear Parents, My name is Sarah and I am currently a Preschool Director with a trauma-responsive program in Vancouver, WA. I have a MACTE-Certified Montessori Lower Elementary Teaching license and four years of experience teaching at the Elementary level. I have a master's in Industrial-Organizational Psychology and four years of experience working in leadership roles at preschools. Most recently, I returned from the Philippines where I was a private first grade teacher for a family, providing a mixture of Montessori and a technology-driven curriculum approach. Lastly, I was an international third grade teacher and social-emotional kindergarten teacher for the 2024-25 school year in Reykjavík, Iceland. I am interested in creating a homeschool environment where children are provided freedom within structure. I believe the world is our teacher and love setting up community outings and finding opportunities to explore social relationships.
