About Sarah

Over the past few years, I've worked part-time in a center in the after school program. I spent three hours, three days a week, playing with and caring for children ages 3 to 11. My daily tasks include waking up preschoolers after their midday nap and getting them dressed to go outside. I also help prepare and arrange a multitude of snacks for around 40 kids. I spend the rest of my time playing different games both outdoors and indoors like tag, hide and seek, Uno, and make-believe. Outside of work I am a Junior in college and enjoy dancing, tutoring students, spending time outdoors, and doing scholarly research in child language development. In the past, I've been involved in leading both a program where I taught free Saturday morning dance classes to disadvantaged youth (ages 6-17) and a club where I tutored refugee children in my school district. I love babysitting children of all ages and I am willing to help out around the house in any way possible!
