About Sarah

Hello! My name is Sarah, and I have a passion for nurturing young minds and helping children reach their full potential. I graduated from Stony Brook University in May 2023 with a Bachelor's degree in Psychology and a minor in Biology. Currently, I am pursuing my graduate degree in Childhood Education at Queens College, where I am dedicated to furthering my understanding of effective teaching methods. In addition to my studies, I bring practical experience from my role as a substitute teacher in public schools, where I engage with diverse classrooms and support students in their academic journey. My commitment to education extends beyond the classroom; I have a longstanding background in childcare, including several years as a swim teacher. I am enthusiastic about utilizing my academic background in psychology and biology to develop personalized tutoring sessions that inspire confidence and academic growth in children.
