About Sarah

Hello! I am fun, creative, responsible, and looking for a compatible families to babysit for occasionally and/or more regularly in Providence or nearby. For the past 2 years, I worked as a mindfulness & social-emotional learning teacher (grades 1-10!). I'm now in a MA program for clinical mental health counseling and am looking for part-time childcare gigs to do on the side. Prior to working as a mindfulness teacher, I nannied for an awesome Providence family with two kids aged 3 and 6. Additionally I have babysat for other children in Olympia, WA, which is where I moved from. My favorite things to do with kiddos are: explore nature; go to the park, do art projects (collage, painting, drawing, etc), cooking projects, and baking projects; read books and tell stories; play games; have dance parties; and learn new things. I have a safe & reliable vehicle and a BA in Writing, Education, & the Social Sciences from the Evergreen State College in Olympia, WA.
