About Sarah

I have 3 years of experience across multiple age groups (teaching pre-k, 3rd & 6th grade, high school). I also have 1 niece (6yo) and 5 nephews (2mo-4yo) all of whom I've taken care of since birth; I am very comfortable with children of all ages. Learning is at the heart of my care style. I'm a graduate of Oxford and UCLA, and am a current fiction fellow at Brooklyn , where I am completing my debut novel in progress. My writing has received support from Fulbright (where I taught in Italy in 2024), Community of Writers in Lake Tahoe, and the Rona Jaffe Foundation. I've also worked at Simon & Schuster as an editorial associate. I speak English, Hebrew, and Italian. A little Japanese (I am half). I'm from Manhattan, where I attended a Jewish yeshiva for 15 years. Cross cultural understanding is very important to me, and what I look for in relationships both personal and professional.
