My experience began as a kiddo babysitting my younger cousins. During college I was the infant room teacher at a daycare where I was the sole care provider for six infants under the age of 12 months. (This was a LONG time ago - I'm not sure what the rules on ratios are now, but that was according to the law back then!) After college I was a 911 dispatcher for eight years and I babysat and did part time nannying on the side. Now? Now I'm a mother of four and I understand all the more how important it is to find someone that you trust to watch your kids. I am looking for part time or date night babysitting jobs. I am not current on my CPR certification but I do know CPR inside and out. I also carry a Life Vac with me everywhere I go. I have extensive emergency handling experience and I've been trained in first aid. Your child will be safe with me! As for other things you should know - I firmly believe that a babysitter's job is to do exactly what the parents want.
