We initially had a great experience with Sarah and were excited to hire her after 2 interviews. We invited her over for a training day, finalized scheduling, and completed payroll setup before her official start date. Unfortunately, she never showed up for her first scheduled day of work and became completely unresponsive afterward. As new parents returning to work, this put us in an extremely difficult position, leaving us scrambling to find last-minute childcare with no communication or explanation. Reliability and communication are two of the most important qualities in a caregiver, and sadly that was not our experience. What concerns us most is that this happened after she had fully committed to the position and knew a family was depending on her. Anyone working with children should understand the responsibility that comes with caring for families, especially parents who are relying on them to return to work. This level of unreliability and complete lack of communication raises serious concerns about her professionalism and judgment. Based on our experience, we cannot recommend her.
