Hi, my name is Sarah and I've lived in Indiana for 21 years. I'm originally from Colorado; sadly I'm not a skier! I started my journey in caring for others over 30 years ago as a "candy striper" volunteering on different inpatient floors within the hospital. My mom was a nurse and so I wanted to follow in her footsteps! Over the years I have worked a variety of areas from Home Health, Rehabilitation hospitals, Behavioral Health hospitals, Heart hospital, ER, ICU, Oncology and so many more areas within the hospital. Some of my favorite ages to work with are the elderly! I love hearing their stories and the lives they have lived. No matter where they are in their journey of aging, they still deserve to be respected, appreciated, listened to and cared for with compassion! Having patience is so important as well!
