Hello! I am 37 years old and I am currently in my senior year at Temple University. I graduated from BCCC with my associates in Early and Elementary Education. I began nannying full time 10 years ago. I made the decision to nannying because of my love of guiding children. There is nothing more wonderful than the look of amazement on a child's face when they master a skill they have been working toward. As a nanny I really like to stress independence, kindness, and flexibility. It is important to me that the children in my care learn to do for themselves. Teaching children to do for themselves is not always the easiest, but I find it pays off in the end. Kindness is something everyone can use. Children are people and deserve to be treated kindly. Flexibility comes in handy because as all parents know the unexpected is always possible with children. I find that having independent children allows us to fill our days with fun things!

For the past year, we had the opportunity to partner with another family in our neighborhood to hire Sarah for part-time care of our baby. Sarah began with us when our youngest daughter was 2.5 months old and occasionally cared for our toddler. She is hands down the most caring, calming, reliable caregiver we have hired! Communication was timely and always informative. Her attention to detail, care and love of our girls was everything any parent would want. With our baby, she snuggled and soothed her through all of her tough first-year transitions of over-tiredness, teething pain, learning new skills, etc. On days she cared for both children, she expertly managed two varying schedules/needs and was able to work with the strong-willed nature of our toddler without issue - our toddler adores Sarah and always asks to spend the day with her. Sarah has the experience and knowledge to provide amazing care & learning opportunities for children of all ages. Simply put, Sarah is the best!
