About Sarah

I am a former teacher with experience teaching math, science, reading, writing and social studies. I was a math major and reading minor in my undergrad program where I learned best practices in supporting struggling students in math and reading. I recently received my masters in mathematics education. I also work with students who are new to learning English and have helped students find success in learning academic skills while also learning English. I have experience teaching 2nd, 3rd, 4th and 5th grade as well. I have previous experience tutoring children as young as Pre-K and as old as college statistics. I am particularly passionate about math and helping kids find success and joy in math. I believe everyone can be great at math, we just need to find the strategies that work for them! I offer a variety of options to make tutoring accessible and affordable to everyone!
