About Sarah

I am a college graduate with a degree in Speech and Hearing Science. I have spent the last 22yrs raising my kids and in the most recent 7yrs I have been in a classroom with pre-school or kindergarten kids supporting a lead teacher. I was normally tasked with helping our most in need kids struggling with Anxiety, Autism & Speech delays. I love working with art and play to help find what a child thrives most with. I'd describe my personality as understanding, artistic, goal oriented. I like tutoring because it helps kids away from the classroom. A place where they can feel judged, overstimulated and stressed. I'm looking for a job that will allow me to help a child move forward with confidence. In my spare time I like to spend time watching my child's sports. I also enjoy be very creative doing things like quilting, making beads or upcycling projects around my house.
