At 14, my science teacher offered me my first job due to trusting my responsible and mature demeanor, but as a young kid, I was anxious and had many babysitters lack understanding and patience with me. I think this experience has made me a better caregiver. Seeing the children I watch feel safe and comfortable brightens my day. I would describe myself as patient, grounded, creative, responsible, fun, and approachable. I follow the parents' preferred communication method to discuss their child's day or any issues that arise. My four years of experience have taught me the importance of following the parents' lead when enforcing household rules. I enjoy playing outdoor sports, board games, puzzles, and educational games with children. I have a valid drivers license as well as reliable transportation. With some college education and CPR training, I'm available to assist with cooking, meal preparation, carpooling, light housekeeping, homework/tutoring, travel, and swimming supervision.
