About Sasha

Hello, My name is Sasha! I am 28 years old and a graduate of the University of Florida with a Bachelor's in Wildlife Ecology and Conservation. My animal career started in 2019 when I became a zookeeper and worked at various zoos in the state of Florida. After 3 years of zookeeping I decided to pursue veterinary medicine. I am currently a receptionist at Town and Country Veterinarians in Gainesville on track to become a veterinarian technician. I have experience taking care of a large variety of animals including cats, dogs, large and small exotic animals. Due to my zookeeper background, I have experience training animals, correcting behaviors and desensitizing animals. I am extremely passionate about animals and making clients feel comfortable with me caring for their pets by keeping constant communication, documentation, updates, and looking for odd behavioral or medical symptoms that could ever arise from a pet.
